The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announces the appointment of various committees following the 90th AGM of the BCCI held earlier this month.
Abid Ali was taken to hospital after complaining of chest pain while playing for Central Punjab against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the ongoing last round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in Karachi.
According to a PCB statement, he was taken to a specialist hospital immediately, "where he was diagnosed as a case of Acute Coronary Syndrome" or ACS. "He is under the care of Consultant Cardiologist who is liaising with PCB medical team regarding further treatment. He is currently stable."
