I'd put it this way. If anything goes wrong under Kohli's watch, Dhoni and Rohit fans gang up and start spreading toxicity (eg. ODI series against Aus, First test match this series).
If anything goes right under Kohli's watch, Dhoni and Rohit fans stay silent and wait for even a small thing to happen so that they can gang up again. (Eg. T20 series)

If something goes right not under Kohli's watch, Dhoni and Rohit fans start their agenda to remove Kohli as the captain and again spread toxicity.

I can list so many more combinations, but for now this should do.
