I know how to give respect to senior players.
Records will not give runs. If we give seniors to respect, Kapil, Azharuddin, Sunil Gaverskar, Dravid, Dada, Tendulkar, Etc should play this WC.
Yuvraj Singh asking one match to play for his retirement. But it was rejected by the team management.
Sehwag didn't play last match for his retirement.

Neither played Gambhir , Harbhajan , Raina .
Hope Dhoni won't go same way

This WC would be Dhoni's last international tournament, logically.
But he may not announce retirement when India's campaign ends (with trophy or not), as BCCI would plan a retirement match in India, most likely in Ranchi or in Chennai.
But Dhoni's big issue will be lack of match practice before next IPL. He got a couple of more years of IPL left in the tank. Since he already retired from longer formats, his only option is to play for Jharkhnad in limited overs matches,but if he takes the gloves, it will be impact Ishan Kishan and will invite huge criticism.

He didn't show intent of hitting against Afghanistan, windies and yesterday England . Things are not looking great .

I feel Dhoni gained a few kilos compared to IPL, this could be affecting his agility in addition to age catching up.
His keeping against Afghanistan was not up to the standards which he set for himself.

Also against windies he got 2 lifes , still couldn't score run a ball . Other than that last over 16 runs , it was binary code like 000101100

Commentary or BCCI-IPL roles: World Cup TV experts face choice

The Star Sports panel of experts for the World Cup is expected to see a shake-up with the BCCI all set to give the stars two weeks to choose between commentary assignments and their official positions with the board and IPL franchises. Even active cricketers, either for India or the IPL, have been barred from being employed as commentators by the broadcasters.
