PCB secures Dubai, Sharjah as venues for
Pakistan Super League

The PCB has finally succeeded in securing Dubai and Sharjah as venues for the Pakistan Super League T20 event early next year but at the cost of having to share the facilities with the organisers of the planned Masters Cricket
League.

A source in the PCB told PTI that after renewed negotiations between the officials of the PCB’s PSL secretariat and the Emirates Cricket Board it had been decided in principle that the inaugural edition of the PSL would be held in Dubai and Sharjah.

Gautam Gambhir formally appointed Delhi Ranji captain for 2015-16 season

Veteran left-hander Gautam Gambhir was today formally retained as the captain of the Delhi Ranji Trophy team for the upcoming season. The development was confirmed by convenor of the senior selection committee Sunil Dev, who is also the sports secretary, in a terse, one sentence media release stating Gambhir’s appointment.
