The constitution of india has a provision of selection of "eminent jurist in the opinion of the president" as judge of SC.
Infact similar provision is not available even for a hc judge.
Its very rare for escalation directly from the bar.
There are 100s and 1000s of advocates.
(Now) Justice Malhotra is 62yrs of age with immense experience. Please dont say anything you wish about the supreme court.
This is nt bakwaas..
Thats the court that is protecting your fundamentalrights. And maintaining rule of law in the country.

There are hundreds of advocates with immense experience. Then why she not others?
Just because she is known to some powerful persons she is selected.

I, as a citizen of India have every right to criticize wrong doings of the Govt.
Only Bhakt praises everything of the their supported Govt.

And some Gulaams only criticize even the good. Blind criticism is not good for democracy.

FYI SC collegium suggests names. Govt hardly has a say. It can only accept or reject the recommendations after intelligence verification.
So if u are questioning the sanctity of the unanimous decision of the top5 judges of india. I beg to differ with you and your lack of understanding of the procedure of judges selection and i wish you believe in the judges of SC and their unanimous decision.

Where I say govt interfering in it?
I want to say that there should be a procedure to select judges.
But judges are selected on recommendation on Judges.
