Facebook is testing a new reaction – a digital flower – ahead of Mother’s Day on May 8. The Verge reports that this might be just a temporary reaction, and users will not able able to use it after Mother’s Day.
The new reaction was first spotted by Sreedev Sharma , who posted a picture of the flower on Twitter. “Facebook testing ‘Thankful’ (flower emoji) reaction? ‘Yay’ and ‘Confused’ are no more,” he said. Check out the tweet here:

According to The Verge, Facebook has not specified which markets will the flower emoji be available in, apart from the US. While the emoji can’t be used after May 8, it will still be visible on posts later.
Facebook Reactions, recently launched Reactions – Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad or Angry – as alternatives to Like button. The reactions are available on desktop and mobile apps for users.
