Patrice Evra has warned the Barclays Premier League that Manchester United have lost none of their hunger for glory.
The Red Devils overhauled Liverpool as England's most successful club by clinching a record-breaking 19th league title in May.
Twelve of those have come in the Premier League and Evra has no intention of resting on his laurels.
The French full-back insists that United will be just as determined to finish ahead of their rivals next season and extend their lead over Liverpool in terms of total victories.
"We have won the Premier League 12 times but it does not lose its excitement," Evra said.
"That is the curse of Manchester United. It is never enough to win the trophies.
"That's why United are a big club and we want to stay on the top.
"And next season we are going to have the same hunger to win every game. If you don't have the hunger, you will get the hairdryer from Ferguson!"
Chelsea are again expected to be one of United's greatest rivals and their challenge will be led by new manager Andre Villas-Boas.
The Portuguese tactician has been hugely successful in his homeland with Porto, but compatriot Nani does not think he will get the better of United.
"I hope you have success and demonstrate the qualities you showed with FC Porto" said Nani. "But that is not enough to win against Manchester United."
