Dale Steyn has been ruled out of the
Cape Town Test against England after
he failed to recover from a shoulder
injury he suffered during the first Test
in Durban.
Kagiso Rabada will replace Steyn,
Hashim Amla confirmed on Friday
(January 1).
Steyn suffered the injury on the third
day of the first Test and pulled up
twice during the course of England's
second innings.
When it happened for the first time,
Steyn clasped his shoulder before
being asked to go off the field by
captain, Amla. He returned to the field
after 50 minutes. However, after
bowling just three deliveries, the
injury aggravated and the pacer, again,
left the field in pain and frustration.
Steyn underwent scans after the day's
play but the results came out to
