MUMBAI: DoIT Sports Management has taken ownership of the Mumbai franchise for Hockey India League. Earlier, Mumbai’s previous owner Dabur had pulled out of the league.

DoIT Sports Management is led by Radha Kapoor. It also owns the Delhi franchise in the Pro Kabaddi League.

HIL chairman Narinder Batra said, “We welcome DoIT Sports Management on board the Hockey India League. As they already have
immense knowledge in the sports arena, we are confident they will have a positive impact on this season’s HIL. They are a new company with exciting new ideas for the region and are
looking at contributing towards the
development and growth of Hockey in the country,” said”.
Kapoor said, “The pride and passion associated with hockey, India’s most successful Olympic
team sport, is well known.

DoIT Sports aims to take the same passion and pride to the field.
DoIT Sports is committed to contributing towards grassroots development of hockey in
India”.
