Will switching to Google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1) in the router settings, improve speeds, ping and latency ???

DNS does not impact speeds, ping, or latency, as these factors are controlled by your ISP.

You can set different DNS addresses as primary and secondary, such as 1.1.1.1 for primary and 8.8.8.8 for secondary.

If one service is unavailable, the other will take over.

Personally, I recommend using 1.1.1.1 as the primary DNS and 61.1.1.1 (BSNL Anycast DNS) as the secondary for better geolocation optimization!

Hope this helps!

I am using 1.1.1.1 and 61.0.3.3 (South); the DNS is really fast.
