I had taken my first jio sim which was activated on 14th September 2016. Used that number till 10th March 2017. But it was active even though I had never recharged that number, not even ₹99 prime. I had on 2018 emailed jio customer service to disconnect that number but they didn't do anything. Recently I emailed jio managing director at sanjay dot mashruwala at ril.com about it and then it got disconnected.
Jio's managing director is a very good helpful person as previously he solved my network speed problem by making arrangements for installing three outdoor small cells within 100 metres of my house when I complained him on the aforementioned email id about my data speed predicament.
I'm currently using jio as my sole primary number.I'm from Santragachi, West Bengal and my place belongs to Kolkata Telecom Circle.
