MUMBAI: Dice Media, the premium video division of Pocket Aces, will launch its five-episode romantic comedy web series titled ‘Little Things’ on 26 October.

The web series will release every Wednesday on Dice Media’s Facebook and YouTube pages.

The series is directed by Ajay Bhuyan, written by Dhruv Sehgal, with music by Neel Adhikari.

‘Little Things’, a slice-of-life series, comes after Dice Media’s ‘Not Fit’, India’s first mockumentary comedy, a tongue-in-cheek look at the world of aspiring actors and the weird yet wonderful environment they inhabit.

This five-episode romantic comedy web series chronicles the little things in the life of an everyday couple played by Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal.

It revolves around protagonists Dhruv (a Delhi boy in Mumbai and a post-doc researcher) and Kavya (a bubbly Nagpur girl and a sales representative) who live together in Mumbai and appreciate the little things in their lives instead of waiting for big moments to happen. The series is not about the start or end of a love story, it is about all the small, everyday moments that make the core of every relationship.

Pocket Aces founders Ashwin Suresh and Anirudh Pandita said, “A large part of our content thesis has to do with relatablity and shareability. We’ve always relied on social proof for content to spread and become viral. Our biggest marketers are our audience themselves. The first two videos we made with Dhruv and Mithila—‘Confusing Things Girlfriends Say’ and ‘Annoying Things Boyfriends Do’—have combined organic views of over 20 million on the back of over 250,000 shares! They are probably the largest organic video hits in India this year, and that is what has prompted us to create ‘Little Things’. Our first web series ‘Not Fit’ was very experimental, and so is ‘Little Things’.”

The series is sponsored by Little App, a consumer lifestyle deals marketplace, and powered by VelvetCase.com, an online jewellery store. The cast has been styled by StyleCracker.
