Police are looking for a 30-year-old Amazon delivery agent who went to a woman’s flat on Monday to pick up returned items and allegedly attempted to rape her after an argument.

The pick-up agent, who gave his name as Bhupendra Pal in the society’s entry register, allegedly hypnotised the woman, after which she had a blackout, her sister said later.

Food bloggers can now be sued for bad reviews

Food bloggers without certification or recognition from the national hospitality body will now be booked for defaming restaurants.

The hospitality association has started scanning for blogger community members who mislead customers and public influence opinion about the restaurants.

“New bloggers often write something good about a particular restaurant. After a few months, they start submitting proposals to new restaurants and writing reviews for some fee or perks. If things go wrong between the management and them, negative reviews start cropping, up impacting the businesses,” he claimed.

Zomato delivery boy kidnaps customer’s pet dog

A pet beagle was kidnapped from a Pune-based family by an executive of the food delivery application Zomato on October 7.

The bizarre incident was reported by the pet dog’s owner Vandana Shah, who stays in Karve Road, Pune. She took to Twitter to inform that her pet Dottu was stolen while he was playing inside her home-cum-factory’s precinct.
