Delhi pips Maharashtra to become No. 1 state in terms of Internet readiness

Delhi has overtaken Maharashtra to emerge as the top ranked state in terms of the overall Internet readiness . According to a survey conducted by Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI ) and market research firm Nielsen, the capital city-state is followed by Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

As per the report titled, ‘Index of Internet Readiness of Indian States, Delhi takes the first slot not only amongst small states and union territories but also when all states are taken together and is followed by Chandigarh and Puducherry.
