This was expected, people had advised him to sell it to someone outside India. It's a nice popularity stunt but it won't last for long. Chances are that Reliance will use it's influence and get the domain back even though it's outside the Indian jurisdiction.
But I feel they won't even use this domain for the combined OTT platform, they will use something something like JioStar for which they already have the domain registered in their name.

Now domain owner changed! :ROFLMAO:

Jiohotstar isn't a trademark
Jio is
Hotstar is

Just like you can't register a domain like googlefacebook dot com.

Reliance just need to go to WIPO and claim the domain as per UDRP and they'll just transfer the domain to it's rightful owner.

As i speak, Jio will send legal notice to all domain companies related to this, this will be removed soon after court will transfer to Jio official later on. He will earn small amount of money during support.

He's getting offers from other companies now to run their ads on the page till RIL gets hold of the domain 😂😂
if he keep posting on multi domain in different countries for other's to sold. he will more trouble with his own legal battle with reliance. what he was doing rn is really crazy.

He already sold it to some Dubai based charity organisation
