D-Link Offers Personal Cloud

D-Link has launched a bouquet of personal cloud services for the Indian market under the brand name, mydlink cloud. The personal cloud will offer D-Link consumers various services like Cloud Router, Cloud Camera and Cloud Storage.

The company also introduced mydlink app for iOS and Android mobile devices, which will allow consumers to control, view and share via any computer or tablet anywhere, anytime.

Gary Yang, Managing Director, D-Link India, said, “Today, technology is more driven by applications, and mobility is the key. Hence, with the launch of mydlink cloud services, we embark on a new paradigm in consumer cloud space. D-Link cloud products will definitely enable us in enhancing customer experience and gaining maximum mind share”.

Elaborating on market dynamics and mydlink’s features, Tushar Sighat, CEO, D-Link India, said, “While cloud computing has already garnered a lot of attention, it is the personal cloud that will forever change the face of networking in the future. D-Link cloud products integrated with the mydlink platform, will offer users complete control, mobility and easy access to the most valuable functions of their devices. Going forward, most of D-Link products will come under the umbrella of mydlink cloud services.”

The D-Link Cloud Router allows working parents to keep a check on what their child is browsing from anywhere or glance through the browsing history anytime. Similarly, one can also receive notifications or e-mail alerts on their handheld device or computers, whenever a new user connects to the router or there is an unauthorized intrusion.

D-Link Cloud Camera allows users to view live feeds of an IP camera on their mobile phones and tablets. The Cloud Storage allows users to build their own personal cloud, and effortlessly share digital content with family and friends.

mydlink cloud products are available through D-Link’s wide distribution network, LFRs and e-commerce portals. D-Link’s Cloud Router DIR-600L, DIR-605L is priced at Rs 1,900 and Rs 2,900; Cloud Camera DCS930L, DCS-932L is priced at Rs 4,299 and Rs 5,499; and Cloud StorageDNR-322L is priced at Rs 14,000 respectively.
