The India Meteorological Department said that Vayu had increased in its intensity and has now turned into a 'Very Severe Cyclonic Storm'.

Cyclone Vayu is expected to make landfall on Thursday morning with wind speeds in triple digits and bringing heavy showers to coastal areas of Gujarat, Maharashtra and some parts of Karnataka and Kerala.

According to Latest Report Cyclone Vayu May Not Hit Gujarat..MIGHT JUST SKIRT THE COAST NEAR PORBANDAR
a new twist in the journey of Cyclone Vayu, there are fair chances that this very severe cyclonic may drift away from the Saurashtra coast. According to Skymet Weather, Vayu is tracking north-northwestwards. Weather models are now indicating that there is fair amount of probability that very severe cyclone Vayu may just skirt the Gujarat coast near Porbandar, close to Dwarka or Okha coast.
