Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on announced an economic relief package to counter the repercussions of the coronavirus outbreak. In a press briefing, she pledged Rs 1.7 lakh cr to those directly affected financially.

Actually bro we don't have options now. See what is the position of Italy, Spain and even US who are reluctant for lockdowns are struggling.I know this will take the toll on our economy but if we don't lockdown the situation we can imagine could be very scary.

Yes, there is. Divide country by zones instead of full lockdown of India. Those less affected states gets to run the industries at least.

I can't believe our government always uses country's huge population as it's disadvantage. Instead of using advantages of its huge population.

PM Gareeb Kalyan Yojna- fight against COVID-19 as announced just now by FM Nirmala Sitharaman

1. Insurance cover of 50 lacs for 3 months for COVID workers including docs, paramedics, janitors, sanitation workers, Asha workers and bravehearts. Expected to benefit 25 Lac ppl.

2. Additional free 5 KG grain per person and 1kg pulse per family for 3 months to ppl under PM gareeb Ann yojna. Expected to benefit 80 cr ppl.

3. Farmers to get Rs.2000 out of Rs.6000 in 1st week of April2020 to 8.7 cr families

4. MNREGA increase of Rs.20 daily wage. Expected to benefit to 5 cr ppl.

5. Widows/Poor widows/Poor pensioners/Poor Divyang/Poor sr. Citizens will get ex gratia one time grant of Rs. 1000 in 2 instalment.

5. Women Jan dhan yojna account holders will get Rs.500 PM for next 3 month. Expected to benefit 20.5 cr.

6.Ujvala scheme 8cr BPL families beneficiaries will get gas cylinders free of cost for 3 months.

7. 63 lac SHG will get upto 20 lacs collateral free loans.

By testing ofcourse. If there are zero cases of COVID-19 cases in Assam. Why shall the whole state close down for 21 days? 7 days and close down of inter state vehicles were enough.

Talking about lockdown. Let's talk of the country responsible about this whole thing. Tell me whether whole of China was locked down or not?

Bringing in people from other country was the stupidest decision government took.

For this lockdown to be successful. Government should have announced lockdown 2 days prior to actual lockdown to stop creating a panicky atmosphere. While directly handing out of cash to poors. When the money runs out. Poor will reach out to street. Making the lockdown a failure.
