Trial and error also takes qual effort, don't expect early warnings, quicker cure for diseases if researchers are underpaid. Emergency pandemics like COVID-19, Zika, SARS don't generate profit to companies so they are already not showing interest in working on it.

Yeah, I understand they are underpaid. Comparison to footballers was wrong. Specially when Ronaldo donated his hotel for quarantine. Everyone is taking effort to contribute something to this pandemic.

She is right with respect to researchers being underpaid. But taking a swipe at Ronaldo and Messi is wrong. What about the world leaders spending billions of dollars on defence and war. The governments and the leaders must be blamed.
