I think it is pretty stupid for our Govt to restrict the export of these drugs(Only) in the first place. We can produce 20 crore tablets in a month while Domestic requirement is only 20 Lakh for this drug. Even our API manufacturing units are running at only 30%. We just attracted bad image by this move.

I am no medical experts. But I think it's not safe to give an untested medicine to a weakened person from a virus.

I am just saying that export them. It's not India who should decide how other countries should treat their patients. Not exporting them will attract bad image. I mean make it available to all countries. Use or not depends on them only.
