Apart from China hate to say this even WHO didn't take proper actions , they could have put travel restrictions in jan end itself may be then it would have not spread this much widely in all countries . why they waited so much time

Are you serious? They arrested the doctor who discovered the virus to stop rumours from spreading. They took serious actions only after backlash from International community.

I'm nt sure, there is a rumour WHO head gets funding from china in the home country, thats why he didnt declare emergency even in February telling its nt right to declare pandemic , even though other countries doc suggested restrictions. they waited till China allowed them to declare pademic. compared to H1N1 scare in 2009 WHO swifltly declared pandemic all countries were started responsibly.

Sorry about earlier comments in hurry ended up typing them together , i agree with your statement , China should have nt arrested the doc , atleast listened to him and started taking actions earlier.

I wanted to tell WHO could have alerted about the virus to other countries & taken swifter actions like they did in 2009 in February .instead this time they focused on economic impact due to virus as if its an WTO organisation


Apart from these i'm really sad about late action by govt. & news media , its really sad political situation presently instead of focusing on mitigating Virus spread in Country , they are more focused on political fights & the swiftness with which both political parties shifted ministers to safeguard them , if they took similarly Quick decisions to improve healthcare in our country it would be miracle. although i know its not related just wanted to tell.

I feel this is real after seeing WHO appreciate a county's effort who has constantly created pandemics since last 2 decades.

Yaar I have to travel.. Some really important work and I see people wearing masks.. Normal surgical mask.. I too have one.. Freaks me out to wear a surgical masks in public..Had the privilege of working from home.. But have to travel for 2days..is it safe with surgical masks.. Evv getting paranoid

Use hand sanitizer. Wash your hands as frequently as you can. Also don't trying touching your face.

Point-to-point travel by own vehicle is still safe.
Avoid public/mass transport, avoid public rest-rooms, public restaurants on the way.
