New Delhi: Congress leaders will meet on Sunday at party trouble-shooter and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee's residence to chalk out the government's next move, before the Lokpal joint drafting committee meeting on Monday.

Anna Hazare will also head to New Delhi to meet the other civil society members of the Lokpal Bill drafting committee and chalk out a strategy.

There has been still no consensus between both the sides on numerous issues including the issue of whether or not the Prime Minister should be brought under the Lokpal ambit.

The Congress core group met on Saturday and has decided to hold an all-party meeting, once a draft of the Lokpal Bill is finalised. The meeting is being slotted for the first week of July, that is just before the monsoon session of Parliament.

Government sources have said that most political parties are not keen on the inclusion of the Prime Minister under the Lokpal ambit.

The dominant view is that the Prime Minister can be brought under Lokpal the Lokpal's purview only after he demits office.

Anna Hazare and his supporters have been adamant that the post of Prime Minister should be brought under the Lokpal's ambit. They claim that one of the reason why the talks with the government representatives on the Lokpal Bill drafting committee failed was because the government is against bring the Prime Minister under the Lokpal.
