Affodability is issue. 1Gbps should be at 1999, then everybody will use it without any headache for next three years.
Do you think it's possible? Even 300 Mbps is around 1499 excluding Taxes per month? And Avg Per capita income is 2lac per annum as per Data. So in this scenario 1gig is far away even company won't find Affordable to launched as there will few buyer for it.

In few places act fiber 1gbps is now 1499 or 1999...

Onebroadband 1gbps price near about 1k.

Come out of Airtel Sunil Bharti Mittal/Vi Mentality. Already lot of local providers providing it under 1999. ACT and spectra net giving 1Gbps since 2021. Many local FTTH providers giving 1Gbps at 1999 in Mumbai. Many local FTTH providers in Navi Mumbai giving 500Mbps at less than 1100-1300.

In dreams only! 10Gig will never make it to India. ISP will have a deffo meltdown 🤡 if they go as far as to implement this. Ofcourse for their pvt usage they might think about it but never for public ftth.
We need to support FTTH providers like Alliance, ACT, Excitel, Asianet express, Spectranet, Ethernet. Jio+Tata+Airtel will surely have meltdown. Even for that matter BSNL.
