Breaking Cheapest Amazon Echo with Display launched in India

Amazon has launched Cheaper Alternative to Echo Show which is priced at Rs. 22,999.

Amazon Echo Show 5 is priced at just Rs. 8,999. It has 5.5-inch 960x480-pixels screen, a 1-megapixel camera, and a single full-range 1.65-inch speaker. It will start shipping on July 18. It's available in Black and White colours.

Everything is launching in India at higher prices. Price of Amazon Echo show 5 in US is just $90 which is Rs. 6,278 But in India we have to pay Rs. 2,721 more for the same device.

On the technicality it's cheap. But in actual world it's not.

Import tax is too much in India. Look at the pricing difference of consoles.
