CBSE releases Class 10, Class 12 board exams timetable

CHENNAI: The Central Board of Secondary Education released the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam timetable on Wednesday.

Class 10 students will start their boards on March 2 and write their last exam on March 26. For Class 12 students, the exams will begin on March 2 and end on April 17.
More than 10 lakh candidates will sit for the Class 12 boards this year, and the number of students taking the Class 10 boards will be around 13 lakh.

Students said that they were relieved that the board released the timetable now. "There were rumours that it would be released only by the end of the month. Now, I can fine-tune my study schedule," said Shreeja Pillai, a Class 10 student at a CBSE school in Chennai.

The ICSE boards will begin on February 27 and end on March 30, while the ISC exams will begin on February 9 and end on April 1.
