Canon launched two new full-frame DSLR cameras - EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR on Tuesday.
Both DSLRs-5DS and 5DSR-are flagship cameras with full frame CMOS sensor processors. They feature 50.6 MP 35mm CMOS sensor and feature a 150,000-dot RGB+IR Metering and automatic exposure system, which ensures proper exposure and accurate colour tones.
Both the cameras feature the latest dual DIGIC 6 image processors that allow maximum continuous shooting speed of 5.0fps at 50.6MP resolution. The 5DSR has been priced at Rs 2,65,995 whereas the 5DS is priced at Rs 2,52,995.
The only difference between the models is that the 'S' has an optical low-pass filter, while the 'SR' has a self-cancelling filter. According to the company, the 5DSR is ideal for commercial use.
The company also launched XC10, a 4k professional video camera which is compact and can capture still images at 12MP resolution. It is even capable of extracting 8MP still images in camera in from recorded 4k videos. This video camera has been priced at Rs 1,70,000.
