Kaspersky Labs have found Malware in popular CamScanner app. With recent versions of the app the developers added an advertising library containing a malicious module.

This malware is a Trojan Downloader that downloads more malicious modules. With this Trojan, the app may show intrusive ads and sign users up for paid subscriptions.

Google has removed this app from the play store and it is recommended to uninstall the app immediately.

CamScanner has released a update in which they claimed to have removed the malicious codes, users have to go to camscanner.com to download apk of that app because it is no longer available on play store.
