Let them first make the 4G available for every part of the country before launching this service.
We had good hope with BSNL when we hear about IFTV launch, later they made us to regret.
BSNL is doing everything is for advertisement or popularity sake.
BSNL need to first concentrate on how to improve the existing services and retain the customers instead of creating hype on the new services.

Biggest reason its sim free is not because technology got advanced to E-sim

but

When BSNL connection is getting installed at govt/psu or semi govt then
there will some Jugad-id*ot branded person, whose aim to take that sim card to home and use for personal purpose and hoping that bill will be paid by that govt/psu office.

and person wont get caught as there will dummy sim with CPE unit with permant labelled as "no internet due to technical fault" and no one there to audit his FALSE doing.
