The Central government is planning to deploy 4,000 new towers of state-controlled Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in the Naxalite-affected areas of Chhattisgarh to strengthen digital communications, Minister of State for Rural Development and Telecommunications Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani said at an event in Raipur on Sunday.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited plans to install four thousand mobile towers in Chhattisgarh. These towers will be in Naxal-affected areas. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar shared this during his Chhattisgarh visit. The project aims to boost digital communication.
