My dad just got retired on last dec.. if third pay commission come into effect, then my dad's pension will be hiked.
:blush :blush :blush
carry on uncles.....

They will continue to suffer till company is there..

All pay and no work. There are very few really working people in bsnl. Most staff just enjoys to chat with co workers, take nap, sit on their a** doing nothing and are involved in corruption and just sucking public money. Now I think govt should actually close bsnl and let private companies do the job. Its not govt work to provide broadband and phone service. After vsnl, bsnl should also be sold. I think more than 90% staff would be fired for inefficiency. Really, uncles and aunties need to understand and leave. Its really not govt business to provide airlines, hotels, phones and other such commercial services. I dont understand this union mentality. They should be thankful for getting paid for doing next to nothing and still not getting fired. And just think about the common tax paying people - every penny for these non performers comes from the public. Are they not answerable to the public for taking their money?

Bsnl is only provider giving broadband connections throughout india.if that's closed it will be difficult for rural customers for broadband connections.private operators can't provide connection many areas even in city.

Reason for bsnl loss
1.bsnl employees worst service.
2.previous govt worst management
3.This govt introduced competitive plans and improved service now.
4.Speed not increased in previous govt

4.Speed not increased in previous govt
Any government can not increase speed to 10-15 Mbps until they full move to fiber optic.

Secondly they provide fiber connection only to near by location to their exchange due to poor infrastructure which is another pathetic thing.

Half the banking and educational institutions and all Govt networks in India run on BSNL leased line as primary
think abt the ramifications if BSNL shuts down..
