Hi bro's I am using Dell Inspiron
N4010 os win7 homebasic with 500GB hdisk.... My lap booting time is high it takes 3 mintues to complete the booting process... I want to know is this ok for the system if not means pls tell me how to reduce the booting time... -Thanks

Sailaxan bro,3minutes minutes is not good bro,my 1gb ram pc boot times 40 to 50 seconds only:shy,my guess ur os is not changed more than 6 months,so it's will cause this problem/heating sink issue, first move the c drive download files & check, bro do you install cleaner software in ur pc,if not means install c cleaner & try:tup

bro one doubt how many gb ram u using in ur laptop:huh

While pc is on press windows key+r,then type msconfig in command box,it will take you to system config, there you'll get startup option,in that customise the setup, select the selective startup then go to startup tab and there you'll get the option to open task manager, open that and disable the unnecessary processes that you don't want to start on startup and apply the changes and restart the system,it'll reduce your booting time to some extent, hope it helps you :) :k

Upgrade to Windows 10 your boot time will be around 15-20 sec as Windows 10 use hybrid shutdown(Fast Boot) :k

If you don't upgrade then you can disable few startup items which can improve boot time by few sec.
