A new Black color portable Airtel AirFiber device was spotted recently. This is probably the 4th AirFiber unit by Airtel.

It comes with a physical SIM slot.

The interesting thing is, this device has no outdoor unit.

This model doesn't need outdoor unit? Speed and latency is good. 👍
They relaunch this type of device and coping jio airfiber router design 😅.
May be jio will also come with this type of solution. 🤔
But market now need more portable solution with inbuilt battery and smaller models.

When it will be available for customer? I will be interested in this.

I'm very interested in Airtel AirFiber internal-only (no ODU) device too but hope for more than 100 mbps speeds...

On my mobile only I am getting almost 300mbps speed sometimes at my home.
This device would be good option if it works at as a preferred device and give full plan speed even in congestion

Couldn't make out the device manufacturer from the video. Hope it's a good one, the build quality looks sturdy. It's s little bulky for a portable device though if it's being used as a replacement to fixed home broadband it shouldn't be an issue. The larger size may ensure a more stable connection to higher frequency bands.
They should offer a lower bandwidth cheaper plan like the ₹499 40 Mbps plan even on Air fiber rather than keeping the ₹799 100 Mbps as the starting plan.

Latency due to SA network in Mumbai.
