Hello everyone

I am planning to purchase a new portable Desktop computer. I want to go for a Desktop PC which doesnt contain external CPU/cabinet. I have seen new Desktop PCs from HP and other companies which contain the CPU and other hardware inside monitor.

Can anyone please suggest me which is the best Desktop PC at the moment in this category? Which brand and which model?

Budget doesnt matter. I can go up to 50K or may be more if required.

I want best hardware and best screen.

Thanks in advance.

What you are asking for is called All-in-One PCs (AIO), and the first thing I would like to say is "think again"

If you want Durability, go for a normal Desktop and if Portability is your first preference choose a Laptop.

Because, a AIO is not as easily portable as we may think. Carrying a 20+ inch screen (with other components in-built) wherever we go, inside or outside the house, would really need strong arms.

Another important factor is the heat. A Desktop PC has better ventilation than a AIO, because the components are closely packed in a AIO. So, a AIO might get heated quickly than Desktop, affecting its performance.

Next thing is the maintenance. Since, the components are closely packed in a AIO, its a tedious process to replace a part when needed, making it complicated and costly to maintain.

Having said above, if you like to go for a AIO, my first choice is Apple followed by Dell. No other brands is as impressive as these.

Thanks a lot for your advise. I appreciate it. :

I dont want to move it. Actually I'm having a huge pain problem in my neck and hands. So I want an all-in-one PC. I have space problem, so I cant go with normal desktop PC. Currently I'm using laptop which is causing these pain problems.

If I go with Dell, can you please recommend any model? Also what about HP?

Considering your medical problems, I believe a touch screen would reduce the stress. So this below model might suit you. Same model is also available without touch for a cheaper price.

About HP, overall its a good brand in Desktops, but I haven't heard any good response for its AIOs (its purely based on user response in US as I have worked for both HP and Dell)
