For the last 5+ years I'm using the stereo input to my 5.1 audio system. Can anyone please suggest any better set-up for the following configuration?
TV: No restrictions on audio outputs. But currently using only the 3.5 mm jack to audio system.

Audio System:
DVD audio input is available, but connecting port is not compatible with TV output ports/STB (TS Binge+) ports.

Thanks bro. But rather spending ₹4000 on converter for 12+ years old audio system, I would like to have a brand new system spending little more.
As far as I can remember, this system costed me around ₹3000 only 12 years ago.

Yeah that's better. You would get good options for around 25k. If not, you can go for an inexpensive soundbar too for around 10-15k.

As per pictures your TV do not have any dedicated 5.1 output ports like optical/coaxial. Though there is an HDMI out port, I do not think it supports ARC. Even if it supports, your DVD has no HDMI input port. Even if you purchase any converter, you will get only virtual 5.1 output but not real 5.1 output

His TV has HDMI ARC, as shown in the picture. Also, He has a Binge+ box, which supports Dolby audio via Optical out.

One of the 4 HDMI is ARC (STB connected currently), bro. Anyway, that doesn't matter.
