A world-class cricket museum will be unveiled by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at its headquarters here.

BCCI has already set the ball rolling to launch the museum, which will take shape with a cost of nearly Rs 10 crores.

The Indian cricket board recently invited proposals for the design and execution of the same.

"The Board of Control for Cricket in India ("BCCI") intends to launch a world class Museum around the game of cricket at its Headquarters in Mumbai and has issued a Request for Proposal seeking Proposals from Interested Parties who have the experience and ability to perform the Services as set out in the RFP," BCCI said.

The board has set up a BCCI Museum Committee with Anirudh Chaudhry as the chairman. However, the date for the launch is still not finalised.
