I am getting the issue 'Battery plugged in,not charging' for my laptop which is Acer Travel mate 4740.

Does anyone know solution?

@Shantanu Bro, download this tool
Website: BatteryInfoView - View battery information on laptops / netbooks
Download link: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/batteryinfoview.zip
Unzip it and run. It's a portable software, no installation required. Post a snap here.
Here Is the snap

Other things to do
1. Restart your laptop
2. Shutdown and disconnect the battery
3. Reconnect after 10-15 min and make sure the contact points are clean
Already tried, will try again & come back.

By the way thank you so much for quick revert :)

@Shantanu Bro, your battery seems to be OK. As your battery health is 64.3%.
Bro, make sure to disconnect AC source, battery and other devices such as pendrives or external mouse, then press and hold the power button for 10-15 sec.

Is your laptop battery charges upto certain level such as 50% or 80% and then it stop charging?
Did you felt any overheating near battery?

Ya, Few Times
It shouldn't be a problem.

Btw, after following the above steps. Keep the laptop off and try to charge the battery atleast for 10-15 min. Current battery charge is 22% so, if it goes up then it's charging (check battery percentage after switching on). Keep laptop on and try to charge.

If all these doesn't works then you may need to do this
Click Start and type device in the search field, then select Device Manager.
Expand the Batteries category.
Under the Batteries category, right-click the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listing, and select Uninstall
System Battery Shows "Plugged in Not Charging" When You Hover Over the Battery Icon | Dell India
