Warner ruled out of tri-series with fractured finger

David Warner, Australia opener, has
been ruled out of action for 'two to six
weeks' due to a fractured finger,
Cricket Australia said in a release on
Sunday (June 12).
The opener injured the tip of his index
finger on the left hand while fielding
during Australia's 36-run victory over
South Africa in St Kitts on
Saturday.The x-rays conducted
following the game revealed the
extent of the injury.

"The X-Ray showed an intra-articular
fracture of the distal phalanx of the
index finger of the left hand - the top
part of that finger," said Doctor
Geoffrey Verrall, Australia's team
doctor on the tour of West Indies.
