Asus is hosting an event in New Delhi on Wednesday, where the company is anticipated to launch the ZenFone 3 Max in the country. To recall, Asus had launched the other smartphones in the new ZenFone 3 series in India back in August - the ZenFone 3 Max is the only one remaining. The event is set to begin at 2pm IST.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Max is expected to be launched in two variants in India, the 5.2-inch display version (ZC520TL) with a MediaTek processor, and the 5.5-inch display version (ZC553KL) with a Qualcomm processor. For now, price and availability details in India are not known.
The highlight of the ZenFone 3 Max is its large 4100mAh battery, which is present in both variants of the smartphone. The battery also helps the smartphone double up as a power bank. On the 5.5-inch variant, the battery is rated to deliver up to 38 days of 4G standby time, and up to 17 hours of 3G talk time, while the 5.2-inch variant will see the same battery deliver up to 30 days of 4G standby time, and 20 hours of 3G talk time.
