The International Cricket Council (ICC)
has fined Indian batsman Virat Kohli
30% of his match fee for breaching
Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct
during the Asia Cup tie against
Pakistan on Saturday (February 27).
Kohli was found to have breached
Article 2.1.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct
which relates to "showing dissent at
an umpire's decision during an
international match". The incident
happened in the 15th over of the
Indian innings when Kohli was
adjudged leg before wicket for 49. He
immediately gestured to his bat,
indicating to the umpire that he'd hit
