Array Networks, a player in application delivery networking, has introduced AG1000 Series Secure Access Gateways for the mobile workforce.

The company rolled out the 1RU AG1100, AG1150 and AG1200 that support up to 3000, 10,000 and 25,000 concurrent users, respectively, and the 2RU AG1500 and AG1600 that support up to 72,000 and 128,000 concurrent users. The series support 3.2 Gbps SSL throughput, and high-performance 2048-bit encryption.

The access to applications and resources is provided via a Web portal or a layer 3-4 client from anywhere on any device, including workstations, laptops, mobile phones and tablets running local, remote, wired or wireless.

The series leverages Array’s 64-bit SpeedCore architecture, and supports up to 256 virtual portals on a single appliance, allowing enterprises and service providers to create separate user communities, and also a per-user policy for individual users.

It secures the access to the cloud through a two-factor authentication comprising login password. It also supports remote desktops by allowing employees to access official data over Android, smart phone or tablet, secured by Array.

Michael Zhao, President and CEO, Array Networks said, "The new AG Series is a rapidly-deployable, cost-effective solution for secure access across a full range of devices and access methods that delivers performance and scalability. Strengthened by new capabilities in cloud and mobile computing, this new product line allows businesses to ensure security and compliance while giving employees the freedom to be productive wherever and whenever works best."

"India is one of the key global markets where we are launching the AG series because of the huge potential and pressing customer demand for a highly robust and scalable Secure Access Gateway," said Shibu Paul, National Sales Manager, India, Array Networks.
