If i am right Channel 9 is not the official broadcaster in Bangladesh.Star Sports is the host broadcaster and it is available all over the sub continent including Bangladesh then why are they going to give the rights to Channel in subcontinent.I even checked Star Sports Bangladesh listings,it shows that Asia Cup 2014 live on Star Sports.Your reply does not make any sense.

Though this article states 'sole broadcasting TV rights in Bangladesh' but i also have my doubts. Because they (Channel 9) has a ridiculous history of showing cricket in Bangladesh in the past like this. I also don't find any reason (+Commercial benefits) to broadcast a match where Star/Six telecast the same match all over Bangladesh.

Just had a chat with ayanc99 bro.He is in sports rights syndication buisness.He says that Channel 9 has non exclusive rights which means both Star and Channel 9 going to show this tournament is Bangladesh.

Agreed. As i used the word its ridiculous decision again by Channel 9. They are a relatively new satellite channel comparing Star. And i dont find any reason to simulcast with Star.

Why?

Because i live in Dhaka and they don't even present in my local cable in prime frequencies. So i also have to watch Asia Cup on Star like others.
