The eyes of the entertainment industry were all on Apple on Monday as the tech giant previewed its new roster of original content and the company called upon people from what Apple CEO Tim Cook called "the greatest collection of accomplished, creative visionaries who have ever come into one place" to help them roll it out.

  • Apple looks to reach $50 billion in service sales by 2020
  • The tech giant will offer a free trial, just like Netflix
  • Apple TV+ service will launch globally in over 150 countries.

Apple hasn't announced pricing for Apple TV+, but is weighing $9.99 a month, the people said, which would match Apple Music and Apple News+. Netflix and Amazon Prime charge as little as $8.99, while Disney+ plans to seek $6.99 when its service debuts in November.

When will they launch a dedicated app for Android mobile?

I have a subscription for close to a year now. I still haven't watched anything because of lack of an app. Forget mobile app. They don't even have an app for JioFiber box.
Oh, but if you have an Android TV you can install it from the play store na? Or does the bundled Jio subscription not work with separate login on the TV app?

I have a local tv for my room which doesn't have Play Store. Otherwise my Mi TV at home did have Apple TV+ app.
