What Steve Jobs did not announce during the iPad 2 launch today was the price drop of the older versions of the iPad. While the new iPad 2 is going on sale at same old levels , Apple has shaved off $100 across every model from last year. The base
model is available now for $399 . Both the WiFi and WiFi + 3G models seem to have
this discount currently in the US Apple store as you
can see in the screenshot below. If you want to grab an iPad for $399 and you don’ t care about the iPad 2 , grab the old ipad while it
lasts ! Are you excited about this price cut or will
you wait for the iPad 2 ?
