I don't have any issues with the battery backup on iOS 16

unfortunately, the battery life has been worse on iPhone 13 for me since the upgrade to iOS 16. I see the battery drained while the phone is idle

Factory reset and try setting it up as a new phone and restoring iCloud backup!

That's the only thing left, will do that if 16.1 doesn't fix this.

I believe 16.0.3 was just a minor maintenance release while 16.1 can pack some battery improvements.

I too have felt that my iPhone 12 battery backup has been downgraded since the iOS 16 update.
