Anker introduced its PowerPort +1 USB wall charger with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 back in November last year. We managed to get hold of the charger, check out the unboxing.
Only the charger comes in the box, so you will have to use your USB cable. Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 charges devices up to 4 times faster than standard chargers and is also backwards compatible with with all versions of Qualcomm Quick Charge technology. It is also compatible with USB-C and provides standard charging for non-Quick Charge devices.
Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 is currently present only in very few smartphones such as LG G5, LeEco Le Max Pro, HTC One A9 and others, but a lot of upcoming smartphones that are powered by Snapdragon 820, 652, 650, 617, and 430 processors are expected to come with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The charger also offers surge protection, temperature control and more advanced safety, according to the company. The Anker PowerPort+ 1 charger is available in India for Rs. 3,899 from Amazon.in .
