Motorola has rolled-out the Android 5.1 soak test update for the original Moto E smartphone in the Indian market. If everything goes well, the final update is likely to begin later next week.
Around 209MB in size, the update is now reaching the consumers, who had registered to take part in pre-release software testing for the Moto E (1stGen) in the country. Unless, you had participated in the Android 5.0.2 soak test update for the Moto E, your phone will directly jump from v4.4 to Android 5.1.
Motorola has also publishedthe final Android 5.1 change-log for the Moto E smartphone. It includes the usual Android 5.0 and 5.1 stuff like ART as default runtime, material design, enhanced notifications, upgraded multi-tasking UI, new flashlight option, smart lock and more.
