Amazon India today announced the launch of three new fulfillment centres (FCs) in Delhi NCR, Guwahati, and Patna to bolster its pan-India logistics network ahead of the festive season. With over 1.2 million cubic feet of combined storage space, these FCs will lead to faster delivery of customer orders across the North and Eastern states while also creating thousands of local job opportunities in the region.

It's been a few months since Patna FC is active, the only thing city lacks now is Amazon Fresh, hope they are working on it as well. Big Basket, BBNow has complete monopoly here in terms of groceries at the moment.

Amazon is facing prosecution in an Indian court for labour law violations at a major warehouse near the country’s national capital of Delhi.

E-commerce giant Amazon is in legal trouble over alleged breach of labour laws after inspection at one of its major warehouses in Manesar, near New Delhi, revealed safety violations, improper record-keeping, and failure to comply with mandatory regulations to protect workers, according to a report in Al Jazeera.
