Amazon is back with its Great Indian Sale, starting from August 8 to August 10 and the ecommerce site will be full of great deals. The Great Indian Sale starts at 12AM midnight on August 8 and will run till 11.59PM on August 10. The deals will pan across product categories like electronics, clothing, accessories, musical instruments, books, shoes, etc.

The biggest change this time around with Amazon’s Great Indian Sale is the inclusion of Prime membership. Amazon recently announced Prime membership in India offers free fast delivery on every Amazon fulfilled order. The membership also offers unlimited free one-day and two-day delivery and free delivery on any order value. With Great Indian Sale, Amazon Prime members will be 30-minute given early access to best deals. Amazon had also announced that there will be Prime only deals this time around.

Amazon’s Great Indian Sale will have extensive deals and offers around smartphones, laptops, PCs, cameras, tablets and e-readers. Amazon generally offers flat discount across its Kindle range during the Great Indian Sale and with the new Kindle just being announced, the possibility is even bigger.

Amazon Great Indian Sale will offer up to 50 per cent discount on headphones and up to 60 per cent off on networking devices. Amazon India, in a press statement, revealed plans to offer up to 40 per cent discount on televisions, cameras and accessories. Amazon will also offer great discount in home appliances. Amazon confirms plans to offer up to 25 per cent discount on refrigerators and washing machines. With Philips Lighting, users can expect up to 40 per cent discount.

Amazon has announced up to 60 per cent discount on some of the best selling books and up to 50 per cent discount on Hindi books. Amazon is also planning to delight avid gamer with up to 60 off on video game titles. The Amazon discount offers will also extend to fashion retail brands. The focus this time is also on some of the home grown brands where the discount percentage is significantly high.

Amazon Prime members will get 30-minute early access to best deals. Amazon is also launching some deals exclusively for Prime members. The Prime Membership costs Rs 499 in India right now, and the first 60 days are free. Amazon Prime membership ensures one-day and two-day delivery to eligible addresses for free. Same-day, Morning, and Scheduled delivery at eligible addresses will cost only Rs 50 for Amazon Prime customers, compared to prices of Rs 100 for one-day delivery, etc.
SBI credit and debit card users will get 10 per cent cashback free on the app, on a minimum transaction of Rs 5000, while the maximum cashback is limited to Rs 1,500 per account. Users will get 7.5 per cent cashback while shopping with SBI cards on the website.

Interested customers can get their hands on a slightly older Apple MacBook Pro for Rs 52,799, which is a 33 per cent discount on the Rs 78,900 price tag. The deal continues for the next 6 hours. Do note that there are other deals on Apple MacBook Air on the Amazon website from sellers, where the same laptop is priced at Rs 53,900 and above. This might be a good chance to get the more powerful Pro, but at a relatively cheaper price, though this is an older laptop.
Amazon is selling the Apple MacBook Air at Rs 60,799, which is a 1 per cent discount, and though not much, it might be good time for those who have been considering buying one for sometime. Specifications of the Apple MacBook Air on sale are: 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 128GB storage, 13.3-inch screen, Intel HD 6000 Graphics, Mac OS X operating system, and 12 hours battery life. Amazon Prime users are assured a one-day delivery. The deal ends in 4 hours.
Lenovo IdeaPad 14-inch laptop is available at Rs 22,799. Specifications are 2GHz Intel Core i3-5005U processor, 4GB DDR3L RAM, 500GB 5400rpm Serial ATA hard drive 14-inch screen, Integrated Graphics and DOS. This one does not come with Windows 10 pre-installed. The deal is for the next 6 hours.

Tthere are several deals on Dell, HP laptops with Pentium processors, and you can get these for Rs 21,000 to Rs 22,000 depending on each laptop.
If you’ve been looking to upgrade your headphones, the Great Indian sale has some solid options there are well. There’s the Sennheiser CX 180 Street II In-Ear Headphone (Black), which has 19 per cent discount and is available for Rs 799. Then there’s the JBL T150A In-Ear Headphone With Mic (Black), which has a 64 per cent discount on the Rs 1,799 price tag and Amazon is selling these for Rs 649. These deals are on for the next four hours.
D-Link and TP-Link routers and modems are also up on Amazon for discount. The D-Link DSL-2750U Wireless N 300 ADSL2+ 4-Port Wi-Fi Router will cost Rs 1,599, which is a 49 per cent discount on Rs 3,140 price. The D-Link router promises fast Internet transmission of up to 24 Mbps downstream, up to 54 Mbps (802.11g), 300 Mbps (802.11n) in Wireless and has a w wireless ON and OFF button.
The TP-LINK TL-WR841N 300Mbps Wireless N Router is available for Rs 999, which is a 64 per cent on Rs 2,799 price tag. It has support for 300Mbps wireless speed, dual antennas, IP based bandwidth control as well.
Amazon Great Indian sale: Mi 5 is priced at Rs 22,999 on the website, which is a discount of Rs 2,000.

In smartphones, CoolPad Note 3 is available for Rs 7,999, which Amazon claims is a 16 per cent discount from Rs 9,499 price. However the phone had originally launched at Rs 8,999 in India.

Galaxy Note 5 is one of the most solid Android phones from last year and geared for those who need a device to boost their productivity.
