another way to save power is making your smart phone its remote. Just install Amazon Fire TV remote app from play store.

You can sideload smart YouTube tv instead... it's ad free too

Same issue faced here as long as we use normal batteries. Please use Duracell batteries which last more than 3 months

Eveready and Nippo battery don't lasting long
Now using Godrej batteries which is lasting approximate 3 month
