Alliance was cheaper before but just past week I'd asked the price, and the quotation received was 1500+gst / month 250Mbps, 1000+gst/ month 150Mbps with no provision for semi annual plans, otherwise 19k+gst annual tarrif and 12k+gst respective. NO WELCOME and/or UTSAV packs also no other packs available with LCO even if advertised, THIS! Hathway much better here.

Weird because I can recharge with UTSAV plans too. Even got 6 months (3+3) UTSAV plan when I got the connection initially

I'd only say, local ISP pimp work going on! 3 yrs back in my locality, JIO and local ISP tookover making a duopoly. And now after Alliance re-entry, this alliance LCO making fuss, like not guaranteeing the advertised packs even when it is UTSAV, so no point. Even if I recharge I will have to take the connection from them only, in the end I will be screwed, with noone to support. So, I took Hathway period.

Yup lco is da best over here thats why got alliance instead of jio fiber. any issues call them up during office hours. gets solved within a few mins in most cases. never had a single downtime ever.

so does Alliance have good service near barrackpore by any chance? Also these UTSAV offers do you do them online or by cash by calling up the LCO agent?

I pay online. For barrackpore, afaik frm my relatives, depends entirely on lCO..their LCO is darn good hence no issues...some blocks down the road alliance is handled by diff LCO along with BSNL and wishnet. That LCO is lazy af. Takes days to fix fiber cut which is pretty much visible
